2011 Collin County Young Artist Competition

PLACE: Collin College, Spring Creek Campus
2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway Plano, TX 75074

ELIGIBILITY: Participants must have some connection to Plano or Collin County either through their school, home, or teacher OR study the audition instrument with a regular member of the PSO

CATEGORIES: Piano, Strings, Winds/Percussion

DIVISIONS: Junior Division: Grades 1-8, Senior Divison: Grades 9-12

FORMAT: Perliminary closed auditions in each Category before 2 expert judges. Up to 2 Finalists may be chosen from each Division to perform in the Finals before 6 judges and the general public.

REPERTOIRE: Memorize and perform one concerto movement from the Approved Repertoire List or a concerto approved with a Concerto Request Form.
